RedemptionKids

We desire to partner with parents in teaching children the riches of the Gospel and what it means to connect the truths of the Gospel to their lives. Cultivating the soul of our kids is an integral aspect of Redemption Hill Church because it was an integral part of Jesus ministry.
On Sunday we have a collection of small groups that meet during the service and are designed to equip our kids in an age-appropriate way with the message of the Gospel:
Nursery (0-18 months)
Although babies cannot understand deep truths, their spirits can respond to the Spirit of God as they are comforted and cared for in an atmosphere filled with love. Our littlest ones encounter this as they are rocked, read to, sung to, and prayed for.
Toddlers: (18-36 months)
Little by little we can build a foundation of understanding for little children, and little by little they will begin to understand who God is and how great God is. Each week toddlers are repeatedly taught the great truths about God through simple “truth statements” and the telling of basic Bible stories. They also enjoy play time, snack time, and coloring.
Preschool (3-5 years)
Preschoolers can see and know the greatness of God. By showing children the heart of God through Bible stories, we have the privilege of being part of God’s work in their hearts to set their hope in Him. Each week our preschoolers learn a Bible story (from
Read-Aloud Bible Stories by Ella K. Lindvall) and complete a corresponding coloring activity. They also enjoy circle time, music time and a preschool room equipped with blocks, books and fun galore!
Elementary (K-4th grade)
This age group is divided into two groups, K-1st and 2nd-4th, and participates in the service with their parents before being dismissed before the sermon. In class, they are they are taught directly from the Bible and create impressive crafts to emphasize the main ideas they’ve learned.
