What to Expect:
Going somewhere new for the first time can be an anxious experience. So, here are few things you can expect (and not expect) when you come to Redemption Hill. First, don’t expect a big performance, light shows and mini-concerts. There’s nothing wrong with that; it’s just not our style. Don’t expect us to put you on the spot either. We certainly want to know who you are and help you to be as comfortable as possible. So, we’ll have opportunities for you to give up your anonymity at your own pace.
In Scripture, the church is often referred to as a family. When we gather together on Sunday you are a guest coming over to our house. We’re glad that you came and we want you to have the most meaningful experience possible.
Order of Service:
So, what is a Sunday service like at Redemption Hill? It’s our intention each week to create a “thin place” where, as a community, we experience the heart of the Gospel: God is holy. I am sinful. Jesus is my savior.
Our services are structured to mirror the rhythm of God’s action in our lives…He reveals Himself to us and we respond. The hope is that when we see who God is and what he has done, we are reminded of who we are and what we do, and the grace and mercy available to us in Jesus. In this we celebrate Jesus’ victory over Satan, sin, and death and the payment for our sin on the cross and then rejoice as we are sent out to live this reality in our daily lives through the power of His Spirit.
