Laying Roots

Gospel Centered. Grace Driven. Mission Minded. It’s who we are at Redemption Hill Church. We love Jesus, love each other, and love our city. We may be new, but the power of the Gospel is already laying deep roots in our people, bearing fruit in our homes and in our community.

Our mission is simple: be the church. Reflect God’s glory to those watching and waiting for an honest, transforming faith. Richmond is waiting. No church plant has survived the dark spiritual hold on this city in the past 20 years. It’s a city desperate for Jesus — desperate for redemption.

Being the church, especially a new one, takes money. It only takes a few years for church plants to become self-sustaining from internal giving, but they are a critical few years. Honestly, lack of finances is the primary reason new churches close their doors. We need faithful and generous friends like Paul had in Philippi. Friends who partner with us by giving and receiving.
