Loving Our Homeless Neighbors

This is one of Kirk's friends Victoria

I don’t know how many of you have had the privilege of meeting Kirk Tower yet, but I hope you have the chance to meet him very soon.  For about 3 years now, Kirk has devoted his life to meeting the spiritual and material needs of the homeless here in Richmond.

As Christians, Jesus calls us to “love our neighbors as ourselves,” and in the story of the Good Samaritan, he gave us a picture of exactly what that entails.  One of those things was providing care for those who were temporarily without shelter.

Luke 10:34…[The Samaritan] went to him and bound up his wounds…then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.

We’re proud to have Kirk here at Redemption Hill, and we’re excited about the opportunity that we have to share in this ministry that he has been leading for the past three years.  If you would like some more information about how you can be involved in loving the homeless here in Richmond, please contact me at raymond@redemptionhill.org, and I’ll let Kirk know about your interest.  Thank you so much and God bless you.
