This podcast was the center of my quiet time tonight while anticipating the national championship game which will come on shortly. Growing up in the church one hears many messages over a lifetime of. 60 years. I can’t say many messages made me feel “spiritually hallow”. Might sound like a tough assessment yet when I think about the level of love and devotion of Mary and many others I know, I feel I must work at chipping away a protective shield that has build up to keep me in a safe zone. Because I am certain, I would have been as critical of Mary’s lavish oiling of Jesus as any of the others. Or, other such acts of sacrifice even today. Thus, the reason for wiriting, was not to confess my unworthiness, that just came out in my response, but just to say – thank you for bringing home this powerful expression of a heart that will hold back nothing in her love for Jesus., Convicted…Tim Pierson
