Excellent message to begin the first Sunday of Lent. In today’s culture we address harassment and abuse when it is brought to our attention. Social Injustice is appalled in our culture and we have mechanisms like Title IX to address it Yet in Jesus’s time the Sanhedrin could inflict abuse, ridicule, and death in the name of Yaweh. My stomach aches when I read and hear you preach on this story and to think what I contribute each day. “For I am not worthy but only say the word and I shall be healed.”
