The church’s mission to “functionally” reflect the greatness of God extends beyond the confines of our building, our home, our city and even our nation. We are called by God to love a hurting world. The greatest resources in the global church exist in this country…we have an abundance of people, money, and resources. It is our intention to connect this abundance to the most desperate and deprived people and places in the world. At Redemption Hill we partner with like-minded agencies that create opportunities for us “to be the church” throughout the world…planting churches, doing justice, loving mercy, and living with humility before God and man.
International Mission Board: The IMB is the largest evangelical missions agency in existence. Their main objective is presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in order to lead individuals to saving faith in Him resulting in church-planting movements among all the peoples of the world. We are blessed to have their home office less than a mile away from us and to be a church that many IMB folk call home. Their site is an expansive resource on world missions. Get a cup of coffee, go there and enjoy.
Children of the Nations: This is a group that is particularly special to Robert and Erin. COTN sees itself as a “movement of people” gathered by God to provide quality care to children under His guidance. He has created a worldwide body of people with a common passion who deny themselves to care for children. COTN is not a “missionary sending” agency but utilizes individuals from around the globe, tapping into their talents in a professional manner, which strategically assists the overall mission in accomplishing its goals. COTN is working in the USA, Dominican Republic, Sierra Leone, Malawi, and most recently in Uganda to provide relief for orphaned and destitute children. COTN operates homes, schools, farms, skill centers, clinics and village feeding centers in an effort to give quality care to our children. World Harvest Mission: WHM exists to see individuals, families, communities, and cultures so changed and renewed by the gospel of grace that they passionately pursue their role in the great story of redemption! WHM is a missions-sending agency that has over 170 missionaries in 15 countries who believe the motive and power for mission is the Gospel of grace at work in the life of a believer.
