Pride, Prejudice, & the Gospel: When Peer-Pressure Comes

Galatians 2:11-14; Acts 10:1-11:18
“11:00 on Sunday morning is the most segregated hour in America.”
- Martin Luther King Jr.
Reflection Points
- In what setting would you be nervous to show up with a person of another ethnicity? Whose opinion would you fear in that scenario and why?
- In a situation like that, how does the gospel help to release you from the pride that makes you overly concerned for your own reputation and sinfully fearful of other people’s opinions?
- What would complete freedom in that situation look like?
- Ask Christ to make you that free on the inside.
