Sunday Rhythm | November 6, 2011

This Sunday, Robert Greene will be continuing in our sermon series based on the Nicene Creed entitled The Real God for the Real World. He will be preaching on The life of the Spirit for a powerless world. If you missed last weeks sermon on The justice of Christ for a self-justifying world, you can listen to it here.

Here are the songs that we will sing together this week:

  • A Mighty Fortress Is Our God by Frederick Hedge and Martin Luther. This is our last Partnering to Remember: Hymn. You can download a FREE recording of the hymn at Redemption Hill Music. This week we will be focusing on Verse 2:
  • Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing
You ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same
And He must win the battle

  • Undone by Laura Agaba. This is a new original song based on Psalm 9:1-20 that will be making its premiere this Sunday. This song will be included on a future release from Redemption Hill Music that will feature many of the original songs we sing each week.
  • Jesus Paid It all by Samuel W. Beazley, M. S. Schaffer, and Chris Tomlin.
  • Refuge by Neil Robins and Isaac Watts. You can read more about this song and why we do it by clicking here
  • See you Sunday!
