The point that it is more than information, but a revelation of Jesus that speaks to us was so impacting. Psalm 19 and the words about the honeycomb and the treasuring of Jesus, encouraged me to approach the Word as God speaking and encountering Jesus. I have taught bible classes a lot of years but I am imspired to reorient how I read the bible. Imagine what would happen if Christian actually read and approached the bible with such passion and reality. Thank you. If it is true that "immediately, the evil one comes to steal the word that is sown in our hearts" (Matthew 13:19), then those of you who put these sermons up on the site are like soldiers commissioned to recover that word and to guard it so that it can never be stolen again. Thank you very much for your weekly rescue missions. It’s so great to know that Heather and I can still hear the message even though we were away this past weekend.
