Film and Theology | Wrestling for Jesus

On Saturday night, March 29th, The Fourhundred will present a special Maker’s Series edition of Film and Theology with a screening of Nathan Clarke’s Wrestling for Jesus. This 2011 documentary follows Timothy Blackmon, a compelling and fractured man, driven to use his passion for wrestling to evangelize for Jesus. Throughout his struggles, we see a man move from unbelief, to repentance, to salvation, to discouragement; and are confronted with the uncomfortable fact that in many ways, we are exactly like him. So join us Saturday night, March 29th, for a special Film and Theology, Maker’s Series edition, as we watch and discuss Wrestling for Jesus. Director Nathan Clarke will be in attendance for this special event to give us insight into the making of the film, as well as discuss some of the take-aways and themes. RSVP at the Facebook event page here.

Wrestling for Jesus is not rated, and childcare will not be provided. Free popcorn, candy, coke, and more will be on hand though, so don’t miss this special Film and Theology, Maker’s Series edition!
