Call to Worship
1 Corinthians 15:20-22
Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. Just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.
- To God All Praise and Glory by Brian Eichelberger, Frances Elizabeth Cox, and Johann Jakob Schütz.
- Crown Him With Many Crowns by Matthew Bridges, George Job Elvey, and Godfrey Thring.
Assurance of Pardon
Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-9
God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God’s grace that we have been saved! God saved us by his grace when we believed. And we can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
- My Jesus, I Love Thee by William R. Featherston and Adoniram Judson Gordon.
Genesis 1-3
This Easter Sunday, Raymond Goodlett will continue in our sermon series on Genesis 1-3.
- Rock of Ages by Thomas Hastings and Augustus Montague Toplady.
- Ain’t No Grave by Jonathan Helser, Melissa Helser, Molly Skaggs, Claude Ely, Megan Clinch, and Shelby T. Murphy.
Benediction
Ephesians 3:21
All glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
