Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who stand by night in the house of the LORD! Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the LORD! May the LORD bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and earth! – Psalm 134:1-3
The Psalms of Ascent
We hope that you can join us for both Good Friday and Easter Sunday this week, as we conclude the season of Lent, culminating in the death and resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ. This Easter Sunday, Raymond Goodlett will conclude our sermon series on the Psalms of Ascent. His text for the week will be Psalm 134:1-3. If you missed last weeks sermon on Psalm 132:1-18, you can listen here.
Please take some time the next few days to pray for these upcoming gatherings. That many unbelievers would hear about the good news of Jesus and be changed. Pray that we would come prepared to expressively worship God together through the songs we sing, the prayers we pray, the scriptures we read, and the communion we partake in.
Here are the songs that we will sing together this week:
- Take Us, O Lord by Isaac Wardell.
- Man of Sorrows by Matt Crocker and Brooke Ligertwood. You can read more about this song and why we sing it by clicking here.
- Crown Him With Many Crowns by Matthew Bridges, George Job Elvey, and Godfrey Thring.
- He’s Alive by Gregory Jastrzemski, Heather Jastrzemski, and Shelby Murphy.
- Bless the Lord (Son of Man) by Jon and Kelley Owens.
See you Sunday!
