Mason Family Porchrait

With our first baby due at the end of May, we have felt the disappointment of canceled baby showers and solo doctors appointments. We have felt fear of putting ourselves and our unborn baby at risk of catching the virus while Craig continues to treat patients as a Physical Therapist. We’ve felt sad that our families are missing this joyous time in our lives. BUT even more so, we have seen the faithful love and care of Christ towards us by exposing so clearly the things of this world that we were holding more dear than Him. This time has forced us to let go of those worldly comforts and find our joy and peace from Christ alone. We’re reminded daily that this world is not our home and rejoice in the hope we have in eternity! God’s provision has been so clear in the small things as well- LOTS of time to prepare for the baby, savor final moments of just the two of us, and stock up on rest. We know as life moves on we will look back on this time with gratefulness and are excited to see how God continues to use it for His glory.
