Lesson Review – Matthew 2:1-15 – Three Wise Men and a Star

Here are some review notes from this week’s lesson in our preschool and K-4 classes. This week we studied Matthew 2:1-15 – Three Wise Men and a Star.

This is lesson 4 of 4 in our Prepare Him Room advent series.

Gospel Truth for Today

The Angels pronounce to the shepherds that the birth of Jesus is “good news of great joy that will be for all people.” Indeed, this is good news for all who hear. Jesus lived the life we were supposed to live and died the death that we deserve so that we might be made right with God.

The Lesson In A Sentence (or Two)

A group of wise men (like kings) traveled a great distance to worship Jesus. When King Herod discovered this, he was jealous and sought to destroy this newborn king.
