New Here?

welcome

Welcome.

At Redemption Hill, it is our desire to make the most of the time that God has given us by relentlessly pursuing our deepest joy in Jesus. Thanks for taking the time to check out our site. It’s a reflection (albeit an imperfect one) of who we are and whom God is changing us into. We invite you to join us on Sunday to get to know the real thing.

What to Expect

We appreciate how difficult it can be to walk into a new place where you don’t know other people and aren’t entirely sure what’s going on. We have created a page that helps explain what our Sunday service is like, but we also invite you to look for the “New Here?” table when you arrive. It is a great place to meet some friendly people and to get your bearings.

Stick 6

We know that finding a church can be a difficult and (if we’re honest) awkward experience. If you’re new around here, we want to help you find out what we’re all about, so that you can discern if Redemption Hill is the place for you. Therefore, we challenge you to Stick 6. Give yourself some time to get to know us and allow us to get to know you. If, after six weeks , you realize that we’re not the fit for you, talk to us. We’d love to help you find your right-fit church in the area. Till then, Stick 6:

  1. Give up your anonymity. Fill out the connection card in the Blue Welcome Packet from Sunday morning, or do it right now.
  2. Join our online community, The City. You’ll meet others there and receive regular Redemption Hill communications that way as well.
  3. If you go to Holton Elementary, attend a Meet RH reception and chat with some of the local pastors.
  4. Check out a Beta Community.
  5. Visit Redemptionhill.com and read articles, listen to sermons, and catch our weekly Sunday Rhythms. (Hey, look, you’ve already done this one!)
  6. Stick around for six weeks. It is hard to really to get to know a church in one or two visits, so we recommend sticking around for six weeks to really meet people and get a true feel for who we are, and if this is the right place for you.
