Online Giving Update

Many of you faithfully give to Redemption Hill using our online giving option. Today we are making some exciting changes to online giving.

Short Version

  1. All online giving will now be run through the website GivingFire.
  2. All giving and historical data from The City has already been moved over to the new site.
  3. All current online donors have a GivingFire account already set up.
  4. To access your GivingFire account, simply enter the email address you use for The City on this GivingFire account page and then follow the online instructions.
  5. You do not need to access your account in order to give online. You can simply visit our GivingFire page and donate at any time.
  6. All those with recurring donations, your scheduled donations will continue you originally established them on The City.

Longer Version

Due to changes within The City’s giving module, we have been presented with the opportunity to transition to a new and more robust giving platform. The result of this transition will be increased ease of use, better reporting, and ultimately help us all better steward the resource we have.

The new giving platform is called GivingFire. You can use this platform starting right now!

If you have ever given a donation to Redemption Hill, all your account information has been ported over to GivingFire, including any recurring donations you have scheduled.

You can access your GivingFire account by visiting this GivingFire page and entering the email address associated with your The City account.

Of course, anyone can donate without an account any time they want!

Never Given Online?

If you’ve never tried online giving, this is a great opportunity to give it a test run. Many people, myself included, find online donations to be a helpful way to be responsive and faithful to God’s leading as it relates to giving.

Before online giving, I often wanted to be responsive and faithful, but would inevitably leave my checkbook at home or forget to bring my gift on Sunday mornings.

Online giving allows me to give my gift any time, any day. I’ve found the result to be an increase in my frequency and faithfulness, which has been a great blessing to me and my family.

I know that online giving isn’t for everyone. But, if you’re ready, just click this link and give it a try.
