Praise the Lord, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord! – Psalm 117:1-2
Family Sunday
This Sunday is Family Sunday, which means that kids will be joining the larger gathering for the duration of our time together. Childcare will be for nursery through preschool only.
Benevolence Offering
This Sunday, we will also take up a special offering for our benevolence fund. The fund is specifically designated to allow us the ability to help those with extreme financial burdens and need. If you would like to give online, there is a “Benevolence” option on the giving drop-down.
Parent Commissioning
Also, don’t forget to RSVP for the Parent Commissioning this Sunday, April 29th if you have welcomed a new son or daughter into your family recently.
Sent
This Sunday, at all three services (9:00 at Holton Elementary, 10:00 at The Fourhundred, 11:00 at Holton Elementary), Raymond Goodlett will begin a new sermon series entitled Sent. As followers of Jesus, we don’t merely “go” anywhere anymore. We are “sent” by Jesus; and the purpose for which Jesus sent us into the world is connected to the purpose for which he came into the world. So over the next few weeks, we will look at some of the statements Jesus made about his purpose for coming into the world. If you missed the conclusion to our Resurrection Matters series last Sunday, you can listen to the message here.
Here are the songs that we’ll sing together this Sunday:
9:00 and 11:00 Holton Elementary
10:00 The Fourhundred
See you Sunday!
