In you, O LORD, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me! Incline your ear to me; rescue me speedily! Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me! For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name’s sake you lead me and guide me; you take me out of the net they have hidden for me, for you are my refuge. Into your hand I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, O LORD, faithful God. – Psalm 31:1-5
This Sunday, Raymond Goodlett will be preaching out of Romans 15:17-33, and the title of his sermon will be We Live in Acts 29. Continue to pray that the good news of Christ’s redeeming work on the cross will be on display this Sunday, and that Christ would dwell in us more and more so that we are transformed into a house that pervasively reflects his own character (Ephesians 3:17).
Here are the songs that we will sing together this week:
- All Creatures of Our God and King by St. Francis of Assisi.
- Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing by Robert Robinson.
- His Eye Is On the Sparrow by Charles Hutchinson Gabriel and Civilla Durfee Martin. This is our next Partnering to Remember: Hymns song. You can download a FREE recording at Redemption Hill Music. This week we will be focusing on the Chorus:
I sing because I’m happy
I sing because I’m free
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me
The songs that we will be singing in the RH Kids K-4 Music and Mission Gathering this Sunday will include:
