Call to Worship

Psalm 92:1-4
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening, accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument, a harp, and the melody of a lyre. You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done.

Assurance of Pardon

Hebrews 9:13-14, Colossians 1:13-14
Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

The Hospitality of Christians

This Sunday, Tim Abbott will continue in his mini-sermon series on the topic of Hospitality. His text this week will be Hebrews 12:28-3:6.

‭Adapted from 1 Peter 5:1-4
May the hope of Christ overshadow all that we do. May knowing our future hope in Christ motivate us this week to live out our hope daily as we walk through this short time we have. May we be humbled at the task before us, of following Christ and leading others to know Him better.
