Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. – Philippians 4:8
Christmas Missions Offering
Redemption Hill is committed to making disciples of all nations, and together, during the past year, we sent a team to the Middle East to host a retreat for workers in Central Asia, fully supported our own full time missionary in the region, in addition to supporting numerous local efforts by our members who love Jesus and love Richmond (you can see a list of all the local efforts we support financially here). We also continue to support missionaries Brandon and Arielle Whitt in Hamburg Germany, as well as church planting efforts in Japan. As we approach the end of the year, we are partnering together in a special offering for missions. For the month of December, please consider a one time gift to support global and local missions efforts. You can do so here. Simply click the “Christmas Missions Offering 2018” dropdown menu. You can also give by check on Sunday morning, simply make your check payable to Redemption Hill Church with “Christmas Missions Offering” in the memo line. This Advent season, let’s come together and graciously give to the greatest cause of all: seeing Jesus’ name proclaimed across Richmond and the world.
December Schedule and Beyond!
As the end of the year approaches, our regular gathering schedule will be interrupted some as we juggle the holiday schedule. Here is what Sunday mornings will look like for the rest of December:
God has been extremely gracious to continue to grow Redemption Hill Church. As we continue to grow, we have seen the need to try and create space at both congregations so that we can continue to see others be able to come and hear the gospel proclaimed. Beginning Sunday, January 6th, both congregations will be moving their service times up 30 minutes to better serve our growing congregations.
Sunday Rhythm
This last Sunday of Advent, at both Holton Elementary (9:00 a.m.) and The Fourhundred (10:00 a.m.), Robert Greene will be concluding our sermon series on the book of Philippians. His text this week will be Philippians 4:6-9. If you missed last weeks sermon on Philippians 4:4-5, you can listen to it here.
Here are the songs that we’ll sing together this Sunday:
9:00 and 11:00 Holton Elementary
10:00 The Fourhundred
See you Sunday!
