Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 100:1-5
This Sunday, Pastor Raymond will be continuing with our sermon series on The Book of Acts: Enjoying God and Engaging His Mission. The text will be taken from Acts 21:37-22:22, and the title is Paul Defends His New Way of Life. As you prepare for Sunday, take a moment to thank God for stopping your opposition to him and “appointing you to know his will” (Acts 22:14). Also, take some time so pray for those who are not yet Christians, that they would come to God with an open heart and say, “What shall I do Lord?” You can find his answer in Acts 22:16. Continue to pray for Ryan and Jennifer Burns, and the newest addition to their family, Calvin Robert Burns. Also, be in prayer for Robert and Erin Green, as they are expecting a new addition to their family anytime now.
Here are the songs that we will sing together this week:
- Glorious and Mighty by Bob Kauflin, Joel Sczebel, and Todd Twining.
