Call to Worship
Psalm 28:1-2, 6-8
We pray to you, O Lord, our rock. Do not turn a deaf ear to us. For if you are silent, we might as well give up and die. Listen to our prayer for mercy as we cry out to you for help, as we lift my hands toward your holy sanctuary. Praise the Lord! For he has heard our cry for mercy. The Lord is our strength and shield. We trust him with all our hearts. He helps us, and our hearts are filled with joy. We burst out in songs of thanksgiving. The Lord gives his people strength. He is a safe fortress.

Parables
This Sunday, Tim Abbott will be continuing in our sermon series on the Parables of Jesus. His text will be Matthew 18:21-35. If you missed last Sunday’s service, you can listen and/or watch here.
Assurance of Pardon
2 Corinthians 4:14,16-18
We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together with you. That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Sending on Mission
Romans 15:13
We pray that God, the source of our hope, will fill us completely with joy and peace because of our trust in him. Then we will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
