To you, O LORD, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit. Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary. Blessed be the LORD! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. The LORD is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever. – Psalm 28:1-2, 6-9
This Sunday, Pastor Chris will be continuing with our sermon series on The Book of Acts: Enjoying God and Engaging His Mission. The text will be taken from Acts 23:12-24:26, and the title is Paul: The Man, His Mission, and His Message. Continue to pray for Robert and Erin Green and the new addition to their family, Piper Georgie Greene. She was born Wednesday night and weighed in at 10.3 lbs. and was 22 inches long. Mom and baby are healthy and resting at home. Lift up our Sunday morning gathering in prayer as new faces continue to show up each week. Pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to work in us and preserve us, and that God’s grace would continue to be on display in our Sunday gathering.
