Sunday Rhythm | November 30, 2014

We will sing of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long—though we know not how to relate them all. Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens. Who is like you, O Lord? Though you have made us see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore our life again; You will comfort us once more. Our lips will shout for joy when we sing praise to you, because you have delivered us. – Psalm 71:15-21

Benevolence Offering
7171173849_dbf076733b_hThis Sunday, we will also take up a special offering for our benevolence fund. The fund is specifically designated to allow us the ability to help those with extreme financial burdens and need. If you would like to give online, there is a “Benevolence” option on the giving drop-down. You can also text a donation by sending a message to (804) 681.3700 with the amount you want to donate and the word “benevolence” (i.e. “$150 benevolence”).
This first Sunday of Advent, Robert Greene will conclude our sermon series on Nehemiah. His text for the week will be Nehemiah 13:1-31. If you missed last weeks sermon on Nehemiah 12:27-47, you can listen here. Lastly, as an artistic response to our sermon series on Nehemiah, resident artist and Redemption Hill Church member Renee Doorly crafted the piece above. To read more about the piece, click here.
