Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations. Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous deeds have been revealed. – Revelation 15:3-4

Partnering to Remember

This week, we are beginning our Partnering to Remember project for the book of Philippians. This project intends to bring Christians together for the deepening work of God’s Word in their lives as we commit to memorize the entire book over the next 14 weeks. To this end, we have created a customized PDF with a week-by-week outline for memorizing the book of Philippians that you can download by clicking here. If you are looking for some strategies for memorizing large chunks of scripture, be sure and check out Andrew Davis’ excellent article, An Approach to Extended Memorization of Scripture. Lastly, be sure and check out J. Alec Motyer’s The Message of Philippians as a terrific resource to read alongside our current series.

Community Commissioning

God saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began. – 2 Timothy 1:9

God’s grace has been poured out on us and now we are compelled to see this grace shape our lives and our relationships. We are compelled to see this grace spread to one another and those who don’t yet believe. Our hope as elders is that those who call Redemption Hill Church home would be cared for deeply, lovingly, and fruitfully by the church, and for many that takes place in the Community you are a part of. So this Sunday, we will take some time to recognize and commission the various Communities of Redemption Hill Church, and the leaders that God has called to serve those Communities. If you would like to get involved in a Community from Redemption Hill Northside, click here for more information, or drop Tim Abbott an email. If you would like to get involved in a Community from Redemption Hill at The Fourhundred, click here for more information, or drop Chris DeRoco an email.
