Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! – Psalm 139:23-24
This Sunday, Robert Greene will be continuing in our sermon series based on the Nicene Creed entitled The Real God for the Real World. He will be preaching on The reign of Christ for a rebellious world. If you missed last weeks sermon on The sacrifice of Christ for a guilty world, you can listen to it here.
Here are the songs that we will sing together this week:
- Age to Age by Shelby T. Murphy. This is a new original song based on Psalm 139:1-24 that will be making its premiere this Sunday. This song will be included on a future release from Redemption Hill Music that features many of the original songs we sing each week.
- The Love of God by Frederick Martin Lehman and Meir Ben Isaac Nehorai. This is our Partnering to Remember: Hymn for the month of October. You can download a FREE recording of the hymn at Redemption Hill Music. This week we will be focusing on the Bridge:
Could we with ink the ocean fill, were skies of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill, each man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain it, though stretched from sky to sky
The songs that we will be singing in the RH Kids K-4 Music and Mission Gathering this Sunday will include:
- Jesus Came to Save Sinners by Jeff Caps and Isaac Wimberley.
- The Love of God by Frederick Martin Lehman, and Meir Ben Isaac Nehorai. You will be able to download a FREE recording of the hymn at Redemption Hill Music early next week.
- Sometimes by Step by Rich Mullins.
See you Sunday!
