Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness, to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in Him, because we trust in His holy name. Let Your lovingkindness, O Lord, be upon us, according as we have hoped in You. – Psalm 33:18-22
Partnering to Remember
This week, we are beginning our Partnering to Remember project for the book of Philippians. This project intends to bring Christians together for the deepening work of God’s Word in their lives as we commit to memorize the entire book over the next 12 weeks. To this end, we have created a customized PDF with a week-by-week outline for memorizing the book of Philippians that you can download by clicking here. If you are looking for some strategies for memorizing large chunks of scripture, be sure and check out Andrew Davis’ excellent article, An Approach to Extended Memorization of Scripture. Lastly, be sure and check out J. Alec Motyer’s The Message of Philippians as a terrific resource to read alongside our current series.
