Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. – 1 Corinthians 15:58
The Book of Samuel
This Sunday, at both Holton Elementary (8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.) and The Fourhundred (9:30 a.m.), Robert Greene will begin our new sermon series on The Book of Samuel. The Book of Samuel is no bedtime story full of timeless moral lessons. It’s full of identity crises’, children gone wild, corrupt religious leaders, murder conspiracies, deceitful politicians, wars and rumors of wars, and even a witch. These are real stories of men and women in a fallen world, and of God’s Sovereign Grace toward a continuously wayward people. Join us this Sunday as our text will be 1 Samuel 1:1-28. If you missed the conclusion to The Church: What’s at Stake? last Sunday, you can listen here.
Samuel Scripture Journals
Scripture journals for our Samuel series will be available this Sunday before and after the service for $5, cash or check only. They will be available in the foyer at Holton Elementary, and downstairs in the parlor at The Fourhundred. Checks can be made out to “Redemption Hill Church,” with “Scripture Journal” in the memo. You can also order one off Amazon here if you prefer.
