Partnering to Remember
This week, we are beginning our Partnering to Remember project for the book of Philippians. This project intends to bring Christians together for the deepening work of God’s Word in their lives as we commit to memorize the entire book over the next 17 weeks. To this end, we have created a customized PDF with a week-by-week outline for memorizing the book of Philippians that you can download by clicking here. If you are looking for some strategies for memorizing large chunks of scripture, be sure and check out Andrew Davis’ excellent article, An Approach to Extended Memorization of Scripture. Lastly, be sure and check out J. Alec Motyer’s The Message of Philippians as a terrific resource to read alongside our current series.
Sunday Rhythm
This Sunday, at both Holton Elementary (9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.) and The Fourhundred (10:00 a.m.), Robert Greene will be continuing in our new sermon series on the book of Philippians. His text this week will be Philippians 1:19-26. If you missed last weeks sermon on Philippians 1:12-18, you can listen to it here.
Here are the songs that we’ll sing together this Sunday:
9:00 and 11:00 Holton Elementary
10:00 The Fourhundred
See you Sunday!
