Sunday Rhythm | September 15, 2019

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. – Ephesians 2:4-6

The Church | What’s at Stake?

This Sunday, at both Holton Elementary (8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.) and The Fourhundred (9:30 a.m.), Robert Greene will continue in Part 2 our mini sermon series on The Church: What’s at Stake? His text will be Romans 12:9-16. If you missed Part 1 last week, you can listen here.

Connected Families Conference

RH Connected Families Conference
Great families aren’t perfect – but they’re authentic, well-connected, and growing in faith.

Join us Friday night, September 27th, and Saturday morning, September 28th, for a special Connected Families Conference. During this parenting conference, authors Jim and Lynne Jackson will combine attributes of two of their most popular workshops: How to Grow a Connected Family and Discipline that Connects with your Child’s Heart.

Over two days, you’ll learn a framework of four timeless biblical principles for building strong relationships and anchoring your family in God’s grace and truth. Don’t wait for the storms of life or the strong currents of cultural influence to shipwreck your family. You can become an insightful, proactive parent, despite today’s frantic pace. You can also learn how to use discipline situations as a time to connect with your children. Often times, instead of building the wisdom and respect parents hope for as they seek obedience, they inadverently build discouragement and resentment, which drives their kids to misbehave even more. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Get ready for an interactive and engaging conference where you walk away with practical examples that you can implement in your family right away.

Visit Connected Families for more information.

Admission is $10 per adult. Children 18 and under are free. Childcare will be provided for infant through 4th graders. When you register, you will need to provide your kids names and ages.

Community Commissioning

This Sunday, we will take some time to recognize and commission the various Communities of Redemption Hill Church, and the leaders that God has called to serve those Communities. If you would like to get involved in a Community from Redemption Hill Northside, drop Tim Abbott an email here. If you would like to get involved in a Community from Redemption Hill at The Fourhundred, drop Chris DeRoco an email here.
