Sunday Rhythm | September 8, 2019

Blessed are you, O LORD, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name! – 1 Chronicles 29:10-13

The Church | What’s at Stake?

This Sunday, at both Holton Elementary (8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.) and The Fourhundred (9:30 a.m.), Robert Greene will introduce a mini sermon series on The Church: What’s at Stake? What comes to mind when you think about the Church? For Charles Spurgeon, the church was the “dearest place on earth”. Today, not many people talk like that. For the next few weeks, we’re going to recalibrate our view of the Church as we hear what God thinks about the Church. Robert’s text this week will be Ephesians 3:10.

Living Church

Heather Goodlett, Briana Jiménez, and Jackie Jiménez will be at Holton Elementary and The Fourhundred this Sunday to share updates on the Youth Life Foundation of Richmond. Within the next week, all of the Learning Center programs will begin! Over 100 students will be served at The Fourhundred and the Northside centers. Please consider helping us in one of the following ways:

  • PRAY – they have many new students. Please pray that they will quickly learn their daily rhythms.
  • MENTOR – They are in need of mentors for our new students.
  • GIVE – they are participating in the Amazing Praise again September 24th through the 26th. Email Heather Goodlett for more information.

Contact if you are interested in mentoring. They have a new mentor training coming up this week at The Fourhundred on Thursday, September 12th from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. They have additional trainings scheduled on our website.
